Spains growth can be explained by Latinos. Whats the reason for the UK? And shouldn’t Italy and Greece grows as well because of migration? Or aren’t they counting refugees as part of the population?

I’m guessing that the UK’s population growth is largely due to immigration. Brexit did a good job.

    3. 90% of Spain’s growth are immigrants from a Africa and LATAM, our native population is declining.

    4. Could you provide an overall change for all nations combined? Is it +1 million, -.5 million, etc.

And all the new people in italy are immigrants from bangladesh. There won’t be many italians left in the next generation

    6. How is Germany so low when it’s a big draw for economic migrants (from EU and non-EU), and they took a lot of Ukrainian Refugees?

    7. This is dumb. No consideration to the size of the population at start. Obviously it’s ‘correct’. But it’s not sharing good information.

I would note that Poland’s actually population growth since 2022 has been quite large. However, unlike pretty much all other EU countries, they don’t consider non-permanent persons in their official population statistics (such as refugees and temporary work visa holders – which is the status of the vast majority of immigrants).

      Al-Andalus will return inshallah

Edit: People in this sub don’t know what memeing is

    10. I would have thought that Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe and the Baltics would see an increase given the surge of Ukrainian Refugees?

    11. That’s why I laugh every time some catastrophic prediction about Spain’s population comes out based only on low birth rates. Population is not only not shrinking, it’s actually growing year after year. And there are basically no integration issues with the majority of immigrants, who are Latin American. A big win for the economy in a country with such low fertility. Of course, all of that could change if the far right ends up in power in a couple of years.

    12. This exact map is being reposted, like, every 7th post, and each time I’m absolutely bewildered anybody takes it seriously. Like, THIS is the apocalyptic vision you’re haranguing about??

Yeah, countries that are dealing with a bad economic situation inherent to liberal corruption and capitalism in general gasping for air while dying are gonna be losing people. This should be obvious.

I swear, conservatism is some kind of a brain parasite.

Most meaningless map, doesn’t even consider population size or fertility rate.

This is misleading. Should be measured relative to current population. Ireland’s proportional increase is way more than UK going by these figures.
