Dude writes some good books. Let’s see if that holds up for screenplays.

I enjoyed Mistborn very, very much. Sanderson’s a prolific author.
Screenwriting is a very different practice. I really hope they bring some experienced screenwriters on to help with the growth of the relationship with Vin and Elend. BA is so good at so many things writing, but left alone to his own devices, any level of romanticism is very cringey and will be painful to see onscreen.

I’m not sure how to take this, his world building is excellent but pacing and dialogue are awful at times.

The debate my colleagues and I have had is whether this should be anime or live-action.
I am strongly on the live-action side because I feel that while anime might be more capable of capturing the exact visions described in the book(s), live-action will open up the potential for a larger audience, thereby making additional seasons more likely.
Any thoughts or updates on where this is likely heading?

Aren’t the books too long to do as movie?
