A lot of maps showed the STG controlling almost all of Syria. However, it is not all uniform under the SNA, which is still made up of former Rebel groups. Northern areas like Afrin and al-Bab still have strong Turkish influence from the former TFSA. The treaty was signed on 30 January so Kurdish armed groups in many areas are still integrating. Also, some misconceptions are that the SDF has completely dissolved and no longer controls territory, however, two northern enclaves are still under Kurdish Administration. Meanwhile, the SNA has entered al-Hasakah.

    2. Which territories did they cede? The map doesnt seem that much different from a week ago or two.

The SDF tried to cut a deal last year which would have ceded all the territory it controls. Having lost its backing from U.S. imperialism which got what it wanted from the SDF and the „Rojavan Revolution“ in removing the Assad regime, isn’t it now just a matter of time before it is crushed?

Harsh lessons need to be learned for those who want to oppose capitalism: there is no way forward through being a partner with an imperialist power.

      >… The agreement imposed on the SDF demonstrates the bankruptcy of the bourgeois nationalist perspective based on maneuvering between imperialist and regional capitalist powers. Despite all the narratives of the “Rojava Revolution,” what was advanced was not a struggle *against* the US-led imperialist powers that have been destroying the Middle East and ultimately Syria for over 35 years, attempting to re-colonize it, but rather a struggle waged *alongside them*. …

      >The Kurdish nationalist Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced Thursday that a preliminary agreement had been reached for three divisions to remain affiliated with them within the military structure of the Syrian Army. The announcement came immediately after the US Congress on Wednesday voted to permanently lift sanctions on Syria, pointing to the decisive role of US imperialism.

      >Hasan Muhammad Ali, Co-Chair of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC)—the parliament of the de facto “Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria”—said on Rudaw Radio that the Syrian Ministry of Defense had presented a new proposal for the SDF’s integration into the Damascus regime led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which has Al-Qaeda roots.

Damascus is much closer to the Lebanese border and Israeli occupation zone than shown on the map.

Not sure you can call it a „rebel-led government.“ It’s just „the government“ now.

You should have put the Golan heights to be Israeli occupied as its Syrian land under international law
