Didn’t doubt for one second that this was going on. Awful.

The wayfair stuff always seemed aimed at those with limited computer/internet knowledge, like thinking this is how dark net sites like silk roan ran, and lacked enough critical thinking skills to realize they would have at least ran a second site not easily accessible to the public.
There are tons of sites easily accessible on the open web selling tons of illegal things, like stolen ID, credit cards, drugs, malware, cheats, etc. The one thing they all have in common is they don’t also operate as a normal business selling legitimate products to the public. They don’t advertise except on other sites selling illegal stuff and you at least need to create an account to see what people are selling.
Basic tech knowledge says they’d have to be the worlds stupidest criminals ever to run their child trafficking site like that and critical thinking skills would tell you there is literally no other way they would do it like this. I doubt anybody is able to run a site like wayfair and traffic children but also unaware of the dark net.

I will never forget the day this was brought to light. Everyone thought I and it was crazy.
Haven’t forgotten about it since then. Insanity on so many levels — all terrible.

Yo. Way to combine two separate emails to make it seem nefarious. The rest of the woody email chain shows that order was $1900 on 12 chairs(6 sets of 2). So about $158 a chair, which isn’t a lot.

I had an inkling this one had some legitimacy

Not to throw cold water on this or anything, but how exactly would you ship a child slave so that it would have a tracking number?

This is bs as someone who worked there during this time. It was due to incompetence in leadership combined with anti dumping legislation and export limitations. They were getting hit with massive fines and penalties for shipping certain items out, and the brilliant execs said “just raise the price to cover the cost of the fines/penalties, people will still buy them!”.
What they didn’t foresee was how badly it would backfire on them due to Qanon nuts finding obscure links to random missing children, bc Wayfair used a naming system for a lot of their catalogued items… so all the sudden people saw random shit like “Kelly dresser – $24,000” and then would find a random missing person named Kelly and be like “SEE GUYS THEYRE SHIPPING CHILDREN”.

Go on Wayfair and sort by >$8,000 you’ll see there’s a lot of single item furniture that warrants the price tag.
If you want to see a real rabbit hole of corporations being involved in epstein trafficking, look into disney cruise lines having stops at little st james…
