Do we know which is the furthest point from a hospital in all of Ireland? I guess it’d be one of the islands.

    2. It’d be good to have versions of this, as I hear so much about the lack of 24 hour cardiac care in some areas. If your heart attack happens on a weekend the difference in commute can be an hour or two extra.

    3. This has taken any thing with „hospital“ in the name as being a full hospital

Good luck getting more than a prebooked xray in Dungloe Hospital. It’s a nursing home first and foremost.

Yeah, maybe if you have a scratch. There’s nothing of any importance in Belmullet. You need to drive the shitty road to Castlebar.

„healthcare service“ doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Being 5 minutes from a chiropodist counts for fuck all.

I found a family member collapsed on the ground in Ennis a few years ago. Literally 3 minutes drive from the „hospital“.

The two ambulances 112 sent came from Limerick, and took an hour to get to her. She didn’t survive.

Completely fucking useless map that makes a dire situation on the Southeast look acceptable through lying.

Ah yes, let me just drive to the residential care home in Rathdrum because it’s called St. Colman’s Hospital.

Yeahhhh. No. Monaghan hospital is not really a functioning hospital and I’m sure many others are the same

This is completely useless information. Should only include hospitals with injury units or emergency departments.

Most important factor is the number of people at each of the distances (population densities)

Including anything with “hospital” in the title is daft. St Joseph’s in stranorlar is a nursing home first and foremost. For the vast majority of stuff you either go to Donegal or Letterkenny
