No, no that will never happen. Nor will the Kennedy center remodel and probably not the bribefest ballroom. Trump will either fall ill and crash, be impeached/convicted or just take all the money for himself while he lets lawyers and courts “delay” this stupidity. There is a chance that he might start so many projects that when he finally leaves office one way or another, half of DC will have been raized to the ground with unrealistic plans to build something new.
My suggestion to Americans.
When Trump is finally done making a mess of things, pick some empty plot of land further west and build a new capital with proper traffic management from the ground up.
It’s so ironic because India Gate is a war memorial that honors 70,000+ Indian soldiers who died in WWI and the 1919 Afghan War. And a draft dodger playing dick-measuring games with it. Fucking hell.
