Russia steals your stuff. Then they want more money so they can afford to murder Ukrainians and do more terrorism.

„Give us money to buy it back. We promise we won’t steal it again“.

So, it appears that Hyundai/Kia were the largest automaker in Russia prior to the war. However, sanctions and all that terrible stuff got in the way and so Hyundai sold their facility. For $97 and took a $300 million dollar loss.

    Russia sucks.

South Korea actually had a really good relationship with Russia prior to the invasion of Ukraine, probably the best among the western powers. Both had mutual interests: SK wanted cooperation with North Korea matters and resources in the Russian Far East, and Russia wanted a check on Chinese capital. However, because of the war, both side lost: North Korea is distancing itself more from South Korea, and China will now have a monopoly on resources of the Russian Far East.

Also Koreans now have to watch ethnic Koreans kill each other because one ended up being born in Ukraine to an old family placed there from the Stalin era purges while another ended up being born in Russia or North Korea.

Koreans hate Putin for good reason now.

Hyundai has voluntarily stepped down because it has to compete with Chinese cars lie byd.

  5. People don’t realize how fucked Russia is if the war ends tomorrow. A lot of the Russian leaders are HOPING that all the foreign investments will pour back into the country after the war is over, but they are going to be in a for a rude awakening. Not even China is willing to invest money.
