Someone dropped the “leader of the free world” mantle. We’re willing to pick it up. It’s a different type of leadership though. One built on multi plurality alliances.
We absolutely must re-invent ourselves; our existence as a nation is at stake.
We know what is coming: the end of CUSMA, and much more belligerence from the USA very likely leading up to an annexation attempt by force. 2026-27 are going to be catastrophic.
We have to get ready, if we are to survive as a country. No more tolerating empty promises from politicians, or delays, inefficiency and incompetence from military and govt procurement, no more corporate welfare and tolerating American takeovers of our firms and industries. No more excuses from Canadian businesses unwilling to go out and compete on the world stage – they will soon be out of business. No more buying American crap. In short, no more Mr. Nice Guy.
There is little time left… Trump walking away from the CUSMA review later this year will be the kick-off of escalating hostilities from the USA.
