Shouldn’t be an opt out. Should be optional opt in.
What data exactly? Your personal/billing data? Your web data? Most all internet traffic is encrypted these days, what data for training an AI would they get out of knowing what ports you connect to and maybe a few domains from SNI headers (and even that’s going to go away once ECH takes over)?
Starling is going to collect this data regardless of an opt-opt selection. It is unbelievably naive to think otherwise.
Haven’t they scraped all the data of the internet what’s even remaining to steal
Fortunately there’s a way to opt out, yes, by not using this service.
