Although we and kid initially missed the plastic straws/bags, but now we have got comfortable with paper straws and reusable grocery bags. In fact now we have started liking them more than the plastic ones. Wouldn’t go back even if they were allowed.
Only place where plastic bags still needed is lining the garbage bin.
What constitutes as a single use plastic though?
At mcdonalds for example yeah they got rid of plastic straws for paper straws yet all the McCafe drinks still come in plastic cups. plastic cups use a lot more plastic than straws
