      Having immeasurable wealth and power makes people different. They see us as worthless. No insult can hurt them. But the one thing they can’t get is prestige – acceptance from the cultural elite. So they try, with vanity, to force it on the world only to be loathed deeper. I think this explains why so many people support him against their own best interests. They feel rejected too and share the inability to look inward for the reason.
