      And that’s only because of mass importing people.  Without that it’d be negative, per capita growth almost assured is negative.  Average Canadian is worse off.

      Thats impressive as fuck if you consider what we went through in 2025 …

      Forget the Tariffs , the uncertainty for buisness and investments , its insane that anyone pushed chips in on canada during all this . That shows that massive potential Canada has to explode with investment if we can continue down this path of unraveling what was tangled .

      Get ‚em Canada. Brighter days are ahead. I know 0% isn’t great overall but in these circumstances it isn’t too bad. And things are changing quickly enough that positive numbers are on the horizon.

      Put bluntly, this is why Trump is pressuring Canada so much his second term. Canada’s economy was rough but stable pre pandemic, but after the pandemic it’s been in death spiral.

      The two things left propping up their economy is an overinflated real estate market, and trade with the US.

      He knows they’re in a weaker state than his first term, so he intends to squeeze them for better trade terms for the US.

      It’s cruel and simple business, which is the embodiment of Trump.

      We can’t control what the Americans do. We can control what we as Canadians. If, after living through 2025 and the current times, you vote for any modern conservative candidate at any level of government, you’re a traitor to your country. It’s not hyperbole. We’re playing defense against all modern conservative politics.
