It’s a lunar halo. I saw my first one last year and I’m 66.
It is called a Moonbow. same as a rainbow, but it is the Moon.
Congrats on seeing a 22 degree halo by the looks.

Cirrostratus or cirrus clouds made of tiny ice crystals, refracting moonlight. Also named „22º halo“ due to the refraction angle.

I live in rural South Carolina…I see these a lot in the winter.
That’s no moon, it’s a Space Station.
I’ve seen one of these in winter about 15 years ago. I also saw a solar halo last year in Hawaii. Both very cool!

I live in a very rural area…. I see this every year and always assumed everyone did… I guess I’m pretty lucky
