In London where the Home Office gets most of its staff, almost two thirds of 35-45 year olds were born outside Britain, it makes you wonder what percentage of the people making decisions about migration were born and grew up in the country, or who are even citizens.
How were these immigrants employed by the Home Office in the first place? Civil service rules requires workers to be UK nationals, and also to pass security vetting.
