The same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I was in Limassol and the GPS would say i was in Beirut

I was just in Cyprus. My GPS was constantly in Beirut Airport
I see this often now.
Why do you attribute it to Israel? Do they have any assets near Cyprus to actually do this.
I always thought it had to do something with UK bases.

I have this problem almost daily, especially on the coast south of Larnaca.
At least you were not a victim of Hamas kidnapping.
