      Please don’t use the term British isles. It’s offensive to Irish people and isn’t recognized by the Irish government

      Surprised New Brunswick is one of the higher ones. I thought they had a lot of French.

    4. Checks out, my Nova Scotian grandfather did an Ancestry DNA test which came back 100% British/Irish.

      90% Brits in PEI and NS – no surprise as I’m one of them, 3rd gen Canadian from England/Scotland and my mother is 75% British isles and 25% Eastern European (Hungary, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania) and father is 96% Scottish/Irish.
