How can our representatives be so sycophantic? We have already seen that Trump is a blowhard and he is weak and as soon as you give him any concessions we changes the terms and demands more. There is only one way to deal with a bully: to confront him. China and India are doing it and we have much more leverage!

You know it’s a trap, Europe. Just like how the CUSMA renegotiation is a trap. None of this is in good faith and even if you sigh an agreement he will renege the moment he finds it convenient.
Rip up the deal! It was a horrific deal to start with.

He has zero respect for you because you folded over like an accordion to every demand he made during the negotiations. He now knows he can lean on you more in the future because your spine is just a rumour.
