So basically, except for small pockets in Nigeria and Egypt, the vastest most populated area of Africa is the arch from Burundi to Kenya alongside Lake Victoria and Ethiopian Highlands, where the oldest modern human remains were found.

The super extremely densely populated highlands surrounded by empty desert in Ethiopia is crazy. I’ve never seen it visualised like that before
Also the contrast between Angola and Namibia is pretty funny
