      I believe she was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing, so should have been clearly visible. The poor thing.

      Why is this tolerated in Ireland? I don’t know of any other city in Europe where illegal scramblers are an issue.

      A serious example needs to be made out of these 2 scumbags. This particular brand of scrote needs to be stamped out.

      If underage then parents need to held equally responsible.

      Legislation is also needed to restrict and control the sale of scramblers, quads and other off-road bikes.

      Fuckers. Right around the corner from where I live, they’re an absolute menace and nothing is being done to stop them. Makes me so mad as I walk around here with my toddler and they have no qualms about speeding up paths. Gardai need to cop on to themselves and figure out a way around the hands off- lawsuit fearing approach.

      The state of the roads is an absolute joke. Was crossing at a green man a couple of weeks ago when these two eejits came flying around the corner on their scooters. Got told to “get the f*** off the road”. Absolutely ridiculous that nothing is ever done and will continue this way. They are untouchable unfortunately.

      Gardai need to be given the power to ram these cretins off the bikes like they do elsewhere. Maim a few of them and they won’t be long stopping

      Gosh it says in the article she has now passed away. Absolutely horrific.

      “The pedestrian, a juvenile female in her teens, was brought to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment of injuries and has since passed away this evening.
