      The real Trump is his own parody. We don’t even need ANOTHER parody of him.

      The Trump Cold Open shows SNL is irrelevant and ran out of ideas. The geniuses that kept it relevant have left, only left to be manned by irrelevant chatter.

      They cut the segment of Minneapolis native Tommy Brennan last week, and again relegated the biggest news story to a sentence. SNL is centrist and bland.

      Trump impressions stopped being funny years ago. No one’s laughing anymore.

      They were never funny because the real life Trump is much crazier and more dangerously outrageous than anything they have ever come up with while trying to make fun of him. Trump trumps their attempts to ridicule him every single week. I wish they’d just stop trying.

      SNL has survived this long because of their ability to speak truth to power, if they won’t do that, they are no longer relevant or necessary.

      Just hear me out. Not defending it, but I do acknowledge that the show takes a week to write, block and rehearse. Then all of Saturday is blinders on to get to 11:30pm and off it goes. It doesn’t start cause it’s ready, it starts because it’s 11:30 in NYC. Again, not saying it was in great taste considering what occurred hours prior to air time, but I also recognize they can’t pivot a full 180 from what they had ready prior to that murder (which is what it was.). May that man rest in peace. What he was trying to do was kind and very brave and it cost him his life.

      SNL is cooked. They can’t handle getting BLASTED one more time. The blasts and SLAMS are downright devastating

      I stopped watching SNL after they joked about January 6th. They’re never going to learn how to read the room.

      The parodies of Hitler from Warner Brothers and Disney cartoons during WWII today just come across as downplaying the Holocaust.

      Laughing about it releases tension, but it’s beyond humour now.

      SNL has only had a few good skits over the years, even with all the great talent coming through there. It’s simply not that funny when it’s not subtle, too easy and over the top.

      I’m sure Lorne and his rich buddies are loving Trump cutting their taxes. Probably not to concerned about a dead guy in Minneapolis while dining at Michelin restaurants in Martha’s Vineyard.

      All this type of humor does is normalize the tragedy that is constantly unfolding around us. Turn off these shows that think they have a right to conduct business as usual, while putting out content like „Oh, haha. Look at our kooky, crazy president being kooky crazy again. HaHa.“ People are dissappearing, people are dying. No one needs to watch SNL anymore, ever.

      Honestly – SNL needs a reshuffle. It’s not hitting anymore. That said there is so much happening everyday in this country- these shows have to go on..

      It’s not SNLs duty to be the voice of reason.. they have a job to do.

      They should have trump dress up as ice and immediate their actions in the street
