Wasn’t it mainstream knowledge years ago that TikTok is the most data/metadata harvesting platform?

It’s been obvious for a while that the regime doesn’t give a shit about “Chinese having access to data on Americans” – another classic case of projection. The regime wants the data on Tt users as well as another propaganda megaphone

I highly recommend you use your eyes and brain and read the article.

It points out this kind of language existed in prior versions of the privacy agreement and is required under state laws like CAs that require companies to disclose if they are aggregating “sensitive data”. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Reddit all have similar disclosures.

Just like before the TikTok ban saga, all the things the boomers were accusing TikTok of is already being done by every major social media platform.

I am retracting my earlier comment where I said people should be deported for giving TikTok their immigration status. I spoke carelessly and did not think about the weight of that words before using them. I should not have said that, and I apologize. My intent was to warn people to be cautious about sharing sensitive information in light of TikTok’s updated privacy policy, but I expressed it badly.

The writing was on the wall when Congress banned it and Trump overruled everyone and said no until he could force the sale to who he wanted, at a SIGNIFICANT bargain. What do you think they had to do for Trump to get that bargain?
