Eh! Great job! It’s amazing how much porn, ai, hate, lies, and such kids have access to nowadays. Definitely a plus, while there are upsides to social media for the vast majority of kids it has instilled a fear of being cringe (whenever they do anything, their friends pull out the phones and it compels most to conform), an avenue to push gambling, and unrealistic body images among other sins.
The draft to ban social media for children under 14 could be problematic, depending on how they plan to verify users’ ages.

They need to hold the platforms accountable as the difference being 14 then 15 and then joining the toxic space doesn’t reaaaaally help

If it’s a ban for everyone under 18, then I absolutely will oppose it. But I feel like 14 is young enough to justify some sort of government intervention. They are not even high school yet.

Might want to ban it for children over 14, too. It’s the intellectual children who can legally vote that I worry about.

The reason why this laws is being drafted because the alternatives are much more difficult to accomplish.
Ideally we would regulate the networks more no matter how much certain people cry about free speech (which is American)
Also parents should be responsible for the content kids watch but it’s very obvious that the kids that need this the most don’t have parents that take responsibility

Should also be a ban for anyone who supports Canada joining the USA. Those people are obviously below the IQ of a 14 year old.
