What’s the figures for the moon landings and 9/11?
There are also prominent flat earthers out there too

That is not a random sample

This is very worrying.
I’m 24. I’d classify myself as a young adult. I don’t understand how anybody could finish their junior cert and not have read extensively about the Holocaust. We even had a survivor of bergen-belsen come in at one point to speak to us about the holocaust.
It makes me wonder how much far-right propaganda is being fed to this 10% on social-media and where the posts originate.

„1 in 10 Irish Irish kids think it would be funny or edgy to say they believe the holocaust is a myth, when asked that question in the middle of Israeli genocide in Gaza“
More probably would say they were Jedi religious if you asked

Hmm…how many are saying this just to be edgy? Not saying that there are no idiots running around, but I said some things in my youth just because I could….
It’s paywalled, can anyone share who made the survey?

This article smells funny. What’s the point in pushing this slop?

I don’t believe the holocaust is a myth. I even visited Auschwitz. But all I’m saying is, look how much the Israelis and zionists are bullshitting about what they are currently doing in Gaza, Israeli leaders spreading propaganda about Gazans (saying they were sticking babies in ovens which turned out to be lies) and justifying their genocide and under reporting the amount of casualties. Is it so hard to believe that they also did the same with history throughout the 1900s and a lot of what we learned in school was changed, lies or even exaggerated?

Less than 10% of any population will believe any nonsense, no matter how absurd. The moon made of cheese? Lizard people? Chemtrails making the frogs gay?
Is this supposed to give us some insight? Because it isn’t.

Outright myth or does it include people who think the numbers were fudged?
Professional_Elk_489 on
I think if you got all those 200,000 young people or something and scrutinised them intensely on myth beliefs you would whittle those numbers down rapidly

A total failure of the Irish educational system.

That’s what we call sarcasm
Is the premise of this article that the Holocaust is not taught to Irish children?
