      This feels so surreal and absurd. I know it is not likely to happen, but the thought of a potential armed conflict between the USA and its European allies over Greenland is crazy. I can understand potential conflict with China and Russia, but NATO countries? That’s one hell of a plot twist.

      Even without war, I would never have thought we’d be at odds with the rest of NATO before Drumpf.

      A bit surprisingly, the UK government seems to be drifting away from the US. That and Starmer likely knows he is fucked if he sides with the orange twat.

      Yep any idiot can see we do not need this war

      Non-US nato outnumbers our military (US has 1.32m active duty personnel vs 2.12million active duty for non-US NATO)

      They also have a shit ton more equipment for the arctic, are trained year round in those conditions (USA has 3 ice breakers vs non-US NATO has 45 ice breakers across Scandinavian countries) this is literally how allies in that part of the world tripped up the German Nazis by leading them further into desolate arctic conditions they couldn’t cope with

      And all the countries defending Europe because we are the bad guys who attacked them

      And all the countries we fucked over through the years who we can’t attack back because we can no longer use European US bases.

      We also have 2 now hostile neighbors who likely wouldn’t protect the borders

      And no allies to fight with so we can share the load while we are trying to contain the early stages of a civil war

      All while countries are dumping our debt and trashing our economy

      Canada, Europe and Australia would never trust us again

      I think Trumps imagining it’s gonna be an easy steal but it ain’t and that’s why they’re playing hardball because they know it as they should
