Never knew Christianity had such a high prevalence in southeast Asia.

Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul and Spiti is Buddhist majority, but I don’t think Uttarakhand has any Buddhist majority region which is highlighted here in its northernmost portion.
This map doesn’t do Java justice, because there are small pockets in Java where there are villages of Javanese Hindus, Buddhists, Protestants and Catholics.
For example, the [Tenggerese](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenggerese_people) are a sub-group of Javanese who live in the highlands of East Java and have been almost untouched by Islam. As such, they are still a Hindu majority.
Then with the Muslim Javanese themselves, there are syncretic Javanese whose ancestors have adopted Sufistic Islam viewed through the lens of Hindu-Buddhism and native Javanese beliefs. As such, you get the Sultanate of Yogyakarta, which officially is Sunni Muslim, performing rituals to appease pre-Islamic deities: the [Queen of the Southern Seas and the Volcano of Mount Merapi](https://geoparkjogja.jogjaprov.go.id/location/labuan-parangkusumo).
