We do have capybaras in Athens at the Attica Zoo Park.

What happens here in Argentina is that these are native animals of the region; however, it is not necessary to put them in zoos, nor do we want to, because they need to live in their natural habitat and they are harmless.

There are three capybaras in Edinburgh zoo, Rodney, Lulu and Cali
Of all the maps to split up the UK, this seems the strangest

In São Paulo(Brazil) capybaras are not only wild but they are also urban animals. You can find them on large rivers in the city. I saw several of them walking freely in the margin of the city largest rivers. Unfortunately they are also full of parasites and diseases, mostly caused by these rivers pollution, so we can’t get too close.
The Andes protects Chile from the evil capybara. The Andes also protect Chile from playing good the good football played on the Atlantic side of the mountains.

I was visiting Kuala Lumpur a few months ago, and there’s place open at night called 99 Wonderland Park. There might have been 40 of us in the entire place, which could easily fit thousands. You can just go in the huge pen with about 20 capybaras and chill with them. One of them fell asleep with his head in my lap, and I didn’t want to disturb him, so I listened to a podcast until he woke up. 10/10 experience.

Are you telling me they aren’t native to Australia? My mind is blown. Why did I think that?

Why this capybara-loving movement? The only thing they can give you is a nasty infection that can evolve into necrosis.
