What about all the people who couldn’t find their way out of Ikea?

    Will they be set free?

I always got the impression a vast majority of shoppers at these locations were just casually window shopping rather than having actual buying intention (unlike the warehouse locations outside of the city where buying intention is a bit higher if you’re making the effort to travel there).

  3. They don’t have the stocks in these locations for most items you would wanna buy in Ikea so you always end up having to go to a bigger location in the end unless you’re shopping for small appliances. Even for bed sheets, they have more variation in Tachikawa so I always end up going there to purchase. This move is understandable.

No great loss. Like a lot of places around the world, IKEA makes its money out in the suburbs. The IKEA I frequent 2-3 times a year is pretty much packed each time I go.
