Was hat es mit dieser Gegend in Bangkok auf sich? Warum ist es nicht so dicht bebaut wie die umliegenden Gebiete? Soweit ich das beurteilen kann, handelt es sich nicht um einen Park oder Naturschutzgebiet.
It’s called “Bang Kra Chao or the Green Lungs of Bangkok”… I used to bike around there with friends on the weekends… there are hardly any cars around as most people access it via ferries and rent bikes. It’s gorgeous.

Looks mountainous. Hard terrain to build on.
I found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_Kachao
Seems like while it’s not designated as a park, it’s a sort of culturally preserved district that the community refrains from developing

Only indirectly related to this but there is a very similar river penisula reserve area in Ho Chi Minh City too, called Binh Quoi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bình_Quới_Tourist_Village
