The people who still support ICE are not going to change their minds over this. No matter what the say, they just want a goon squad to violently assault people they don’t like.
They are the modern day equivalent of the Nazi Brownshirts. Maybe they will end up with the same fate. One can only hope.
Well we KNOW that their ICE training did not show them how to perform these choke holds.
Mostly due to most of these fuckers failing the written tests and unable to pass a physical exam.
They’re also using illegal bullets to the fucking face. No shit they are also abusing people in other ways.
Edit: since this is turning out to be a pretty popular comment, wanted to add that obviously the work Propublica is doing to document these abuses is important and I hope they will be very useful in the tribunals to come. I’m just frustrated that so many of my fellow Americans are blind to it or even celebrate it.

They aren’t trained. They are asked to prove they can pass a super easy marksmanship test, the goal of which is to test their loyalty and basic trigger discipline.
They are sent out onto the street armed and told to do whatever it takes to get it done. They are all dangerous criminals.
Kidnapping. The correct word is kidnapping, not arresting. An illegal arrest, when they know full well the arrest is legal, is kidnapping.
Almost as if they are untrained or were told they have absolute immunity to do whatever to whoever.

Ice recruits get 47 days of training.
It can take more time to get a real estate license.
Maybe cutting training time to only 47 days to ‘honor Trump as the 47th POTUS’ was stupid… though no less so than the overwhelming number of decisions made to empower these racist and sexist Gestapo.
