Republicans aren’t friends to anyone.
At first glance pro-Israel and anti-Semitism seem contradictory. What ties them together is the right wing Christian end times beliefs.
Israel has to exist because they claim it’s in the prophecies, and supporting it is a religious obligation.
Christian anti-Semitism, OTOH, has a long history, with Martin Luther (in)famously writing a book titled ‚On the Jews and their lies‘.
It’s a weird stance, but, in the US, very well financed. Theil for example has supported individuals and organizations that have been accused of promoting antisemitic or white nationalist views while simultaneously being pro-Israel and lecturing on the coming of the Antichrist.
To be clear, they still *love* the genocidal state of Israel.
