      Finally!

I’ve been wondering why their privacy outweighs my rights to security.

      About time!
Other provinces needing to join in, or is it just that pedos all move to Manitoba?

Good. Their right to privacy doesn’t supersede the safety of children

When you invade the innocence and privacy of children, I believe you should lose all rights

There are only 9 names in the database, for the entire Canada! Even worse than the RCMP gun grab, royal canadian clowns

Lmao and the filtering doesn’t work on mobile. Classic government tech

You just know some 15 years old dude are going to to get the idea to use it to look up where all the teachers that caught fucking their students live in an attempt to get laid

    8. Further erosion of our rights, atleast its only the high risk of repeating offenders, surprisingly low rate of repeat offenders in this category

    9. No offenders in ON and theres no search or to show all offenders option. Is this some joke?

It’s about time Canada created a public database!

However, they noted it’s only for:

“Only the offenders deemed as high risk of committing a crime of a sexual nature are included in the database.”

Shame, all predators should be listed 😡

How about not letting people back out if they’re dangerous?

The justice system needs to protect the public and let offenders settle their debt with society if they’re willing and able to do so.

Considered high risk of committing new sexual offenses against children and not in prison. Why is this even a thing?

    14. They probably spent $9M of taxpayer money on it.

For it to only show 9 people.

    15. „The RCMP said it relies on provincial, territorial and municipal police to recommend the individuals who should be included in the database given the “established and robust” practices they already have in place for determining high-risk offenders in their respective jurisdictions.“
