      > Human rights researchers have long documented a hazing culture in parts of Russia’s armed forces, often referred to as “dedovshchina,” in which junior servicemen are subjected to intimidation, coercion, and humiliating treatment by superiors or longer-serving soldiers.

Is the motherland worth fighting for? No.

He chose to go and kill in Ukraine for a paycheck
I won’t lose sleep over it
Still says a lot about the moral standing of the russian army, even at the lowest level, a hierarchy of sadism

Please stop calling them “African Mercenaries”. Russia is known to pluck people from Africa/India/Middle East with promises of jobs or education, only for them to be instantly drafted and sent to the frontlines. They aren’t trying to make a quick buck off the war, they’re being lied to and essentially forced into it.

Oh I see… the Russians are just brutal with all their recruits, so that’s OK then. Whew! Not racism.

    6. When you lie with dogs, don’t be surprised when you get a mine strapped to you and sent to the front line.
