      Not gonna lie that’s a huge jump. Like triple in six years is wild. I’m curious how much of that is actually cutting emissions vs just passing the cost onto regular people at the pump and on heating bills. Feels like the usual “tax it and hope for the best” move.

    3. This isn’t a good news.
      We will cheer when CO2 emissions isn’t bringing any money because we found ways to do without.

      Those are like revenue from taxes on tobacco.

    4. The USA and China are developing much faster because they do not artificially stifle their economies with CO₂ taxes. Europe will not save the planet this way, since it accounts for less than 10% of global CO₂ emissions, but it does lose global competitiveness.
