Strange that YouTube as viewed from Ireland is showing warnings about KNR Greenland public television, as being „funded by the Greenlandic government …“ Like as if they’re treating it as potential propaganda ?! Just seems a bit odd.

I don’t recognize my country anymore. We used to show power through quiet strength. It was just implied. We were respected. It’s been that way for like 80+ years. Now we are essentially turning into the class bully on the world stage. We already have everything. We don’t need any more. We don’t need to be doing all this. It’s really shameful and heartbreaking.
I’m a 10th generation American. My family was here before the revolutionary war. Im probably more “american” than all these assholes. Yet I’m ashamed to be from the same country as these people. This is a fucking disgrace.

Ever increasing importance and pressure on the Arctic was already clear and widely talked about 50 years ago.
They wanted maximum freedom but that freedom was guaranteed by the ones that are taking it away from them today.
And double sorry: wasn’t that clear from the get go?
Greenland is beyond superweak and had they the will to look beyond their immediate interests in fisheries, they could have gone much closer to the EU decades ago. That situation wouldn’t have happened.
