There’s a weird backlash on reddit, calling the whole thing fake and manufactured.
Which… maybe, sure.
But… it’s also very believable. None of you have ever had a summer fling before? No one has ever had a short term relationship that started when you worked with someone, then faded fast?
I totally believe that two older folks might have connected when they were put together to work intensely for a year, and also that it might have immediately fizzled out once they weren’t pushed together out of circumstance.
It’s weird to think that because it wasn’t that long, it had to have been fake.
I was so confused about this at the time, nowhere did they say they were together and I only saw comment sections on videos of people saying they loved them together?? Must have been some weird astroturfing by their PR
