      It’s so hard to not be nihilist about stuff like this, if for no other reason than we’ve already lived through a time when Trump lost Congress. Might as well be clear-eyed about it.

      – Regime will do whatever they want even with a Democratic Congress. They will defy subpoenas, ignore laws, etc.

      – No one on our side will do anything other than what Republicans already know we’ll do in response. Strongly worded letters and other functional equivalents.

      Makes me wonder why they’d bother cheating in the first place, and I can only really come up with two reasons – because they can, and because they know they’ll get away with it.
