It’s good that experienced lawyers are helping with this stuff. Your average random lawyer doesn’t have a done of experience dealing with DOJ and the specific laws and procedures that will be most effective to use in court.
That said, it’s horrific that a lawyer in America can have a lot of experience dealing with cases of wanton murder of civilians by law enforcement officers.
The criminal charges will likely be waived away, but this is going to be a very costly civil settlement or adjudication.

Per former defense secretary Esper Trump once inquired about shooting protesters in the legs. He released violent criminals who fought for him to overturn the election.
