I don’t really like that article but the name Akhmedov appeared repeatedly since 2022. I am surprised they did not get rid of him for good already.
Also I doubt they dismissed him because of the losses but rather for sending back false reports of victory or progress. There was a lot of noise about the loss of dobropillya in december with russians declaring to be in total control of the area. A claim that has been dismissed by various osint channels.

I can’t imagine losing 300 is really the issue considering how many they lose everyday. Everyone else gets a promotion with massive losses. This event is missing a lot of context and info.
