      They are being held in Fort Snelling… Where in the 1860s you had non-combatants and combatants of the Dakota tribe held (some for years) while their lands was stolen by the US military.

      What are they charged with that ICE has any jurisdiction over?     This is completely insane.   When they get out it seems like a huge, very profitable false arrest lawsuit for the arrested tribesmen, will be a no-brainer.

      I get the irony, but of course people of every ethnicity are in ICE detention. The problem isn’t who specifically they are detaining, it is the fact that they are illegally detaining. There’s no requirement for anyone to be a U.S. citizen in order to be in public in the United States. Every person who is detained is wrongfully detained, regardless of citizenship.
