Here is Yle article. Using reservists to patrol the border is not a new plan at all; the border guard conscripts are specifically trained for that among other duties. What would change is with the new law, the reservista could be called to service faster than currently. Now, the notice has to be sent 3 months in advance.

      From the Finnish article: https://yle.fi/a/74-20088544

*This would ONLY the reserve of the Finnish Border Guard which is less than 1% of the 900,000 wartime reserve of FDF.

*This includes only the personnel finished from the border guard course with the FBG or/and having the similar experience from border patrol. People with difference of multiple decades from the last time of patrol duties won’t be included.

*The official term is the practise of the reserve lasting max. 30 days straight.

Still more than enough, I would imagine. Of course, if the number of refugees won’t rise over 1m.
