And ICE is trying to prove to the contrary by… *checks notes* …beating, detaining, and harassing US citizens:

[‘Madness’: two US citizens violently detained by ICE in Minnesota, officials say](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/13/ice-immigration-target-minnesota)

      >According to the Minnesota state representative Michael Howard, who represents Richfield, and video footage taken by witnesses, a team of ICE agents that had assembled at the Target on 8 January forced two employees to the ground at the entrance to the store, then bundled them into a dark SUV.

      >Gregory Bovino, the senior US border patrol official who has become the public face of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement action in Minnesota and elsewhere, was present during the incident.

      >A later clip posted on X purports to show one of the two in a distressed state at a different parking lot. In the clip, he is crying, and a bystander is heard saying that he is bleeding, although blood is not visible in the video. “They threw me on the fucking ground,” he says between sobs.

      >The Guardian has not been able to verify the authenticity of the video clips, the first of which was shared by the Department of Homeland Security. In a post on X on Monday, the agency said: “This individual was arrested for assaulting federal law enforcement officers.” The post cited the federal law prohibiting “assaulting, resisting, or impeding federal officers”.

      >The post did not identify which of the two detained employees it was referring to and gave no details of an alleged assault on any officer. The post also had no explanation of how or why the person was set free soon after his arrest.

      >Howard, however, said he had spoken to both of the people who were detained and criticized what he called an ICE “rampage across Minnesota” in the wake of Good’s killing.

      >“In Richfield, federal agents, including Greg Bovino, senior commander of US Border Patrol, entered Target without a warrant, physically assaulted, and arrested two Target employees, both US citizens,” he said in an update to his webpage.

      >“They have now been released, but sustained injuries and untold trauma while their rights were trampled for no reason whatsoever.”

      He helped make ICE.

And since ICE is only sent to places that did not help elect Trump… this is not about USA security… this is about tyrant being a tyrant

If it really takes Joe Rogan to call ICE ‘murderous military people,’ that tells you exactly how twisted this situation has become. A federal agency shouldn’t be firing into a civilian’s car and we shouldn’t have to pretend it’s normal.

Fuck joe rogan. The dipshit endorsed trump and helped him get reelected.

    5. > “Now ICE are villains, and now people are looking at them like murderous military people that are on the streets of our cities and they’re masked up, which is a problem,” Rogan, who endorsed Trump during the 2024 election, said during an interview with Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky released Tuesday.

Yes, that’s the problem. That people see ICE as murderous military people that are on the streets of our cities.

The problem in that equation is the perception.

That’s what needs to be rectified.

This isn’t the first time ICE acted violently. Seeing them as militarized and dangerous makes sense after what happened to Renee Good.

Not going to call them that himself. Just going to say „they are seen“ that way and bemoan how „unfortunate“ that is. What a bitch.

    8. Military has rules of engagement. There’s a reason why I rolled my eyes when Trump was sending the military to these cities.

The military is trained to deescalate conflict.

ICE ain’t soldiers, they ain’t even cops. They’re the shitty little incels who have never heard a yes but can’t handle a no, given guns, badges, and told to work out all the anger they’ve got that nobody has EVER loved them the way they wanted to be loved.

    9. I love that he qualified it as that they are „seen“ that way..

No, they fucking **are** that way

    10. “Seen as” —- what a cowardly classic Joe Rogan thing to say. They aren’t seen as… they simply are.

    11. Equivalent_Sea_1895 on

Christ, they were murderous military people before shooting Renee Good in the face.

    12. And you helped put them there, you clinically stupid propagandist.

      Fuck Joe Rogan.

    13. Just like many other right wingers, Joe will occasionally show a shred of humanity and capacity for independent thought – but he’ll get quickly reigned in by his handlers and he’ll return to parroting their narrative.

Make no mistake, the fascist will not change their minds, they will not go away willingly. You must stand up to them.

Maybe you shouldn’t get your political opinions from an MMA commentator.

    15. Joe Rogan loves ICE it’s a fact. Look at his actions and influence. All those proud baby boys flick their twats to JRE ALL DAY EVERYDAY while on alpha brain.
