More business partners! Yay!
gotta diversify more.
US is our number 1 adversary and takes up [77%](https://wits.worldbank.org/CountryProfile/en/Country/CAN/Year/2023/Summarytext#:~:text=Canada%20top%205%20Export%20and,partner%20share%20of%2077.32%20percent.) of Canadas exports
That number needs to be cut in half.
China is around 4%, that needs to go up to like 20%
UK is at around 2%, bring that up to like 10%
Diversify our trading options.

Let’s increase those trading partners..
We need to increase our trade with the European union, Japan, South Korea and China.
UAE is funding genocide and ethnic cleansing along with supply weapons to militants.

This is good, they are in our top 20 importers even without this deal. I also hope CETA gets fully ratified soon.
UAE is corrupt and ties closely with MBS and the Saudis, and deal with Kushner. Beware who you partner with.
I realize some of you don’t like Carney but the man is on fire right now.
What do We get in return? Sand?
While I did hear something about Carney investing pension funds there I’m not sure what sort of goods would this have an effect on. What do we currently import and export from the UAE and what would we want to change to take advantage of a free trade deal?Diversity in trade is a good thing, I’m just not seeing the end game here.
I’m thrilled we are diversifying our trade partners. But this one gives me a sick feeling inside. They are truly horrifying as a regime.

Total trade with UAE is around $3.4 billion annually and it ranked 16th after US,China, United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, Germany, South Korea, Netherlands, India, Italy, etc. Totally make sense to emphasison on #16.
