To be fair, the Lux headline can be read the same way: Let’s blame RTL rather than your browser.
I’d say that this is actually an accurate translation. It is phrased a bit awkwardly in Luxembourgish as well. It is clear from context that they mean to say that among the people who died in 2024, most died to cancer. I have no idea why they phrased it like this.
