      I’m desperately crossing my fingers that Trump will TACO at the eleventh hour. Millions- heck billions of people still have so much to live for, and it would be an unfathomable tragedy if we all died because a pedo rapist refused to take no for answer.

      The thing to do is actually station that brigade in Canada. Close enough to respond to Greenland if Greenlanders call, while complicating the larger ambitions from the start.

      Democracy needs an Arctic umbrella.

      Why doesn’t Germany provide a brigade for the Coalition of the willing? Because they might be a Sitting Duck for Putin. They’ll volunteer to go to Greenland.       Hot take: Trump pressured NATO to increase defense spending, the same way he pushed them to have a stronger military presence in Greenland. This was never about annexing and only about military presence to repel enemies of the West

      This is a German guy who is president of the reservists association calling for a deployment there.

      This type of jingoistic rhetoric is dangerous.
