I’ve seen this clip probably too many times to be healthy, and this is the first time that I have realized that this soldier engaged at least a further two nearby Russians after wounding the first guy.

Every time I see these types of videos I wonder how much it’s changed people’s perspective on War. Sure there was plenty of war footage before this although I believe the videos coming out of Ukraine carry a different type of reality to it. Everything about this video is shitty, you’re in a muddy trench with trash and guns laying everywhere. You probably got a bunch of splinters in your hands and face, and there’s 10 dudes tryna kill you that you can’t even see till they’re 10m in front of you. Not to mention the most visible enemy wasn’t even facing you, he died without even knowing where from. And at any moment an fpv drone can swoop in and make an edit of you dying with bass boosted phonk music.
