Remember in early 2020 when everyone on here said that creating a vaccine passport to go to a restaurant or a movie theatre was an insane conspiracy theory? Lol.

If you color the map at random you’re likely to get a more reasonable answer to whatever that question is.

How are countries like North Korea with just full on propaganda ranked? Is their propaganda not considered misinformation/disinformation??
Btw I’m not saying America or other countries don’t have a propaganda problem, but I just wonder where the line is drawn?

I really wonder about the method here.
India has some scary stuff like conspiracy theories about Muslims eating cows that leads to violence against Muslims.
South Africa is at the bottom according to this but it also has scary conspiracy theories, mostly about immigrants, which leads to mob attacks.
The „biggest threat“ of course is actually in the US. Our „they’re eating the pets“ conspiracy theorists have nuclear weapons now and are threatening to invade neighboring countries.

While we can get some sense of the problem, 27 to 28 months ago is a relatively long time ago in monitoring disinformation.

So India spreads more misinformation and propaganda than Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, etc.
Sure buddy.

More false information in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia than in Iran. Interesting. We are on to something here.

I enjoyed standing up for the national anthem before a movie in Thailand. I feel like they were pretty open about following the rules and the locals not messing with tourists. Were they hiding the misinformation? Tricky tricky.

There’s no 2nd or 3rd. There are far more than 3 countries for 4th-6th. There are also far more than four countries for 7th-10th. And guess what? Also the same for 11th-15th and 16th-20th. This map is trash by default.
Happy to file this under disinformation, yep.
EDIT: Oop, misread it. See reply to this comment, ignore me!

Obviously Russia, North Korea, and China would be near the top of they had the data. Most of the population consumes state propaganda as their main source of news.

The non coloured zones are where misinformation originates. F**cking Greenland! I knew you were evil.

France. Mass media are lackeys’s Macron and they say what he wants people know. Mass media don’t give informations but opinions and propaganda.
