Der Queenstown Cemetery ist über 100 Jahre alt und die ältesten Gräber stammen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Passiert uns das wirklich, wenn wir gehen, werden wir einfach vergessen.
Yes, you will be forgotten within 100 years. I visited the historic Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, and many graves that were 100+ years old were cracked, sideways, and overgrown with moss. They seemed to have all been forgotten by their descendants.
In a way, it’s liberating. It truly makes you realize you have but one life. Your great grandchildren onwards will probably never think of you except in passing.
To further draw that point to a close, think of the greatest figures in human history that you are aware of like Alexander the Great or Julius Caesar. Even then, they probably only cross your mind a handful of times per year or so. And not with some great reverence, just the knowledge that they existed.
Live your life.

2 for the composition – it draws you in and keeps your eye looking for stuff. 6 for the mood.

4 and 1.
6 is cool too, but it lacks the same ambiance of 4 and 1.

I like 3, 4, and 6 the best. If those 3, I’d have to go with 4.

We love visiting cemeteries when traveling there are some very beautiful tributes to lives that were well lived and loved ones missed.

4. It seems secluded and more naturey, no manicured grass, less kempt.

1, 4, and 6! The mist, lighting, trees add perfect atmosphere for the old headstones. Great work!
