Jesus didn’t die – he came back from the dead and lives forever

Most Christians only read what they are fed by their pastor. If you are doubting that treating an immigrant consider this!

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭31‬-‭46‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He calls himself a stranger in reference to

“Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭22‬:‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.” ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19‬:‭33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If you think Christ is okay with murdering people in cold blood you are in for a rude awakening.

I guess everyone pre crucifixion just automatically went to hell by default or were automatically rewarded with heaven as they hadn’t even heard the words to live by yet, no?

This is prejudicial conjecture. When you say, “How could these people have known X, or historians all agree on Y therefore Z is true.” None of these beliefs you’ve discussed have concrete evidence.

Why would Jesus’ earliest companions kill him to hide his message? It’s illogical given they all willingly suffered and died for an unpopular message that led to their ostracization from family and friends. His earliest followers were poor. In fact, when you evaluate the decisions his earliest followers made it lends credibility to the truthfulness of the Bible. By and large, first century Judaism didn’t believe the Messiah would be fully God and fully man. Yet, the followers of Jesus were so convinced of the truthfulness of this message they were all killed for their message. It’s very illogical that a group of me would all agree to preach a message that would put conflict between their friends and family and die poor. Would you change your vocation and preach a counter-cultural message that would ostracize you to death for nothing? I wouldn’t.

There are many books written to explain the similarities and variances within the gospel accounts. This poses no problem at all.

Jesus was opposed to the religious establishment in Israel, and the entire religious system was destroyed in 70 A.D. it’s chilling that at the crucifixion of Jesus the crowds chanted his
blood be upon us and our children in ~33 A.D then the Romans invade Jerusalem destroying the temple and killing many Jews in 70 A.D

Do you think the people who follow Jesus benefit in this from being a devout Christian? What tangible benefits do you think we receive? In general, my beliefs rub against the inclinations of culture. I am called to die to my own sinful desires, and understand I will suffer in this life. Globally, Christianity is the most persecuted religion.

If you want to criticize Christianity that’s fine, but you should also be skeptical of your skepticism. Think critically – the way you might about other conspiracies – ask yourself why you are disposed towards skepticism, what would you lose if this were true?

The tower of babel and nimrod the first freemason

Nimrod is primarily viewed as a symbol of the self-ruling ego, rebellion against divine will, and a purely material, power-seeking consciousness

The „Babel“ Hardware: Specialized Brain Regions
The human body has specific „hardware“ that makes language possible. If you were to look at the „Babel“ centers of your brain, you would find:
Broca’s Area: Located in the frontal lobe (usually on the left side). This is your „speech factory.“ It’s responsible for turning your thoughts into spoken words and handling complex grammar.
Wernicke’s Area: Located in the temporal lobe. This is your „translation hub.“ It helps you understand what others are saying.
The Arcuate Fasciculus: This is a bundle of nerve fibers that acts like a high-speed data cable, connecting Broca’s and Wernicke’s areas so you can listen and respond instantly.

    6. That works both ways. If you come to a country to steal resources you are violating Christ’s doctrine.

I heard a documentary say that roughly 2000 other people were crucified by the Romans for claiming to be god that year; seriously.

      Who’s „they“?

That’s should be the one rule on this sub. You have to explain who „they“ means.

Regardless, Christians warp Jesus message to manipulate other Christians constantly. It’s a big grift in the USA. It doesn’t require Jews warping it to have a bad message. Christians already do that

1 Corinthians 15: 1) Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters,a of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. 2) It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. 3) I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4) He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

    10. If they wanted to shut him down they wouldn’t have set up base in Rome and spread his message from there while threatening to and actually killing millions of people who didn’t want to get baptized

    11. I know I talk about wanting demons to enter me, but I believe in Jesus‘ teachings, dude changed the world just not with magic.

No, Jesus was not killed so that they could control His message. We ALL killed Jesus, as He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.

Romans 6:23, „For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.“

Found at the apologetics ministry Got Questions dot org, „Who killed Jesus?“ and „What does it mean that the wages of sin is death?“ and „Why did Jesus have to die?“

Personally, i believe the „jesus“ in the bible was one of the many Messiahs of the Jews at the time which rebelled against the Romans authorities and their collaborators among the Jews. „They“ Jewish collaborators and the Romans reinvented the military/revolutionary aspect of „Jesus“ and turned him into for the…. for the lack of a better term a peace loving, turn the other cheek to tax collectors and imperial authorities Jesus that we have in the bible today.
