The guy who stole the Declaration of Independence?!
This one must hurt for Nic Cage. I know he loved comics and had an amazing collection of rarities so this must have been its crown jewel.
If he wasn’t forced to sell because of his bankruptcy fallout he could have made $13m just by hanging into it.
EDIT: And of course still owning THE holy grail of comic books – paid a record price for it and it’s still breaking records but now 100 times more valuable in part because he owned it.
