They are thinking about it… and thinking about it and …. nothing will be done.

2 years later: ‘Epstein files’ deadline lapses for second year, lawmakers press DOJ over delay

    3. That’s why Cheeto is generating all these other distractions in the news.

When will the tipping point come when they flush this turd?

    4. Oh man, someone is about to get the most sternly worded letter ever written. Wouldn’t want to be in their shoes when they read it!!!

Nice!! Keep „pressing“ them! That’ll show um!!

They’ll totally collapse and give us everything we are asking if we just *press hard enough*

      It’ll scare um straight!

Hopefully they don’t fill the news cycle with killing American citizens and going to war with its allies in the mean time! That would be awful!

You might have to *press them harder* if they do that. And then they’ll have to cave!

    6. Perhaps they should ‚SLAM‘ them over it, then ‚RAIL‘ the DOJ over this delay…anyway smh

Our President sent young women to be sexually assaulted at Epstein’s house repeatedly and not a thing is being done about it. And that’s in the stuff they did release.

If I failed to show up to court, the sheriff would knock on my door. Congress needs to enforce their law.

    9. I think all of the victims should do a press conference right in front of congress and start naming names with pictures.

If there are no repercussions for non-compliance… then why would they comply?

    11. IrrelevantLeprechaun on

I said on day one of the vote passing to release them that they’d never actually comply. Everyone said I was delusional or doomposting.

And now here we are. How many times do I have to say I Told You So before people start believing me

    12. >lawmakers press DOJ over delay

afraid that headline can’t cut it… how about this one, instead?

      >Lawmakers Pass Felony Penalties for Obstuction of the Epstein Files Release Act

    13. I can’t imagine anything less than 90% redacted being released while Trump is still alive. After that, they can make any excuse and throw him under the bus, but currently the agenda is save face at all costs.

The Minnesota shooting is fucked but we gotta keep hitting him in the Epstein. It’s the only real chance we have of ending his term early.

    15. Excellent! I’ve been waiting for them to finally „press“ the DOJ. Now we’ll get some answers!

    16. No worries, they’ll send in ICE to „investigate fraud in Congress“, and that’ll be that. Maybe they’ll be nice enough to stand guard over every session, right there in the chamber…

What a bunch of worthless, spineless, losers we have running this country. A bit of finger pointing, some mildly aggravated posturing, but never any fucking consequences for anyone with more power or wealth than store manager. Every failure to enforce our laws on powerful people should be seen as a crime in and of itself. Every act of defiance by this scum bag administration should be treated as a hostile act against American interests. We should bring the people we’ve deported back. Let the evil idiots in this administration, and those who have been empowered by it, take their place.

    18. Someone needs to go to jail until these are produced. If the courts order can be ignored with no consequences, then it a powerless court. its rulings and the rule of law mean nothing.

    19. 3rd week. Zero consequences. The files are not coming out… in anything less than heavily/completely redacted. They dont care because no can hold them to account.

My problem with all this, release the Epstein files is that we all know he is guilty just by the fact that he refuses to give them over un-redacted. Along with the emails and photos. My problem is that congress keeps asking for them instead of stopping him from doing all the other bullshit he is doing. The country is going to hell, he needs to be reined in somehow
